Estimated Domestic Brewer Production:
Unofficial national brewer production indicate a decrease of -2.9% in taxable removals of 16,500,000 barrels in July 2010 compared to 16,990,000 barrels in July 2009. Domestic taxable removals (also know as Tax Paid Removals) measure the amount of beer shipped from domestic brewers to distributors within the U.S. market. Figures are in millions of barrels (31 gallons per barrel)

Imports of Malt Beverages:
The United States Department of Commerce reports total imports of malt beverages from all countries for the month of June 2010 decreased 1.8% to 2,633,914 compared to June 2009 total barrels of 2,683,261. Figures are in millions of barrels (31 gallons per barrel)

Exports of Malt Beverages:
The United States Department of Commerce reports total commercial exports of malt beverages to all countries for the month of June 2010 at 252,576 barrels compared to June 2009 commercial exports of 263,314 barrels.  This figure does not include shipments to military posts overseasor shipments to Puerto Rico and other US territories. Figures are in thousands of barrel (31 gallons per barrel)

State by State Shipments:
The State-by-State Beer Shipments Estimate for June 2010 decreased -0.4% from June 2009Shipment data represents shipments from brewers to wholesalers (including imports) within the state or entire U.S. and is the best available proxy for “consumption.”  The State-by-State Beer Shipments Estimate is the cumulative total of all states.  The year-to-date figures are based upon a combination of state shipment data already received and estimates for data not yet received. Figures are in millions of barrels (31 gallons per barrel)
