Mike has thrived in every role, from packaging specialist to brewer to shift supervisor to cellar team manager. His technical expertise, relentless work ethic and attention to detail have made him a standout contributor and inspiring leader. His impact resonates across every corner of Asahi USA.
One of Mike’s most impressive achievements came during a major cellar equipment commissioning and integration project. He fully owned a complex, multi-phase effort managing installation, programming and coordination with internal and external teams. His ability to lead and deliver results was a masterclass in execution and collaboration.
Mike also played a pivotal role in one of the brewery’s proudest milestones: earning qualification to brew Asahi Super Dry. We are now one of the few breweries outside of Japan entrusted with this honor. The qualification process was rigorous, involving audits by leaders from Japan and Europe, infrastructure upgrades, new methods and multiple validations. His stewardship was instrumental, setting a gold standard for Asahi USA.
