BEER INSTITUTE RELEASES DECEMBER 2017 DOMESTIC TAX PAID ESTIMATE
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the Beer Institute published an unofficial estimate of domestic tax paid shipments by beer brewers for December 2017: The December 2017 estimate is 12,519,000 barrels, a decrease of 8.0% versus December 2016 removals of 13,615,000. Please note that the estimates reflect revised estimates released by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB).
Beer Institute Names Dan Roth, Senior Director of Public Affairs
WASHINGTON, DC – The Beer Institute, one of the nation’s oldest trade associations representing America’s brewers, beer importers and industry suppliers, announced today that Beer Institute communications director Dan Roth has been promoted to serve as the trade association’s senior director of public affairs. Roth joined the Beer Institute in May 2016 as its communications director where he was instrumental in working on successful efforts to provide federal excise tax relief to brewers and beer importers.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the Beer Institute published an unofficial estimate of domestic tax paid shipments by beer brewers for November 2017: The November 2017 estimate is 12,567,000 barrels, an increase of 1.2% versus November 2016 removals of 12,243,000 barrels. WASHINGTON, DC – Today the Beer Institute published an unofficial estimate of domestic tax paid shipments by beer brewers for September 2017: The September 2017 domestic tax paid estimate is 14,426,000 barrels. September 2016 removals were 15,175,000 barrels, for a decrease of 4.9%. Please note that the estimates reflect revised estimates released by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB).
